Sable Island As you've never seen before
Last Summer I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to one of the most remote wonders of the world. Sable Island, now a Canadian National Park reserve, has a rich history dating back to the 1600s. It is known as the graveyard of the Atlantic with over 150 recorded shipwrecks. But the major reason it's so well known is for the over 500 wild horses that inhabit the island. It also has over four hundred thousand grey seals that call Sable Island their home. So in partnership with Parks Canada I embarked on my adventure to Sable Island, to document the beauty as its never been done before. With my drone in hand and photo gear on my back, I headed out to the Island in late August 2...

Shannon Park Video Drone Tour 2015
Просмотров 55 тыс.8 лет назад
Shannon Park has been abandoned for years, and used to be a thriving Military living community until being decommissioned by the government and was closed in 2004 and remaining residents were moved to military housing at Willow Park. Musical Mix by: Atrium Carceri - The Expedition
I absolutely loved watching this video-it was so inspiring! Sable Island's beauty is breathtaking, and it's definitely a place I'd love to visit and photograph someday. Thank you for sharing this and leaving a lasting impression on my heart.
There are places on planet Earth where human beings have not been able to live or build and yet they think of building on Mars, that is a pure dream of fantasies.
Woooooow!
There are many horses that die on this island because they eat so much sand their teeth wear out and then they starve to death, one year they found 150 dead horses, think how many came close to death, but somehow survived
Loved the sync to music, well done
The Graveyard of the Atlantic. So many ships were lost there. So many men marooned on that island.
I went to school at Shannon park when I was little and I could’ve sworn I seen a face in the window I know I was a little girl and kids have wild imaginations but to this day I have dreams of looking at the houses this area reminds me of something like Chernobyl we seen tons of foxes as well and even when I looked closer in the window there was a bunch of stuffed animals left behind ti be forgotten
GORGEOUS♥♥♥♥
I too was born and raised in N.S., now living in the Philippines. Sure do miss my old home. Great video
I watch this video every year, closer to fall!
Awesome photography!
Thank you
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
I’m sorry, I flew across Canada from Vancouver Island, rented a car, and drove the Cabot Trail. Meh. At least the Lobster supper was good.
Breathtaking
I wanna live alone there I’m so stressed i’m drowning in debt
Hello Sir. Incredible 🙏🙏🌹🌹
Very nice pictures. I'd be curious to find out if the rising seas has/will impact this island...
Was just thinking that 😢
Haha ... I just came across this today ... that's my house at 1:36! I did a drone shot off the cliffs at the start and end of a video I shot recently ... ruclips.net/video/TEatHJ45S8w/видео.html
Bellísimo!!!! Felicitaciones! Cuéntanos un poco de cuál dron usaron para estás increíbles tomas.?
Thank you Canada for leaving this place as it is and thank you sir for allowing us to see it so.
Amazing footage! 👏
Thank you very much!
Should do an updated video. Hurricane Fiona last Sept caused erosion and many trees down deep in woods.
Incredible footage!
I visited here in summer 2001, I met my then girlfriend in the UK then came to visit her family here. Good memories hanging around the park and going to the swimming pool everyday. Much simpler times as it was just before 9/11.
Amazing video! New sub here 😀
didnt they close it for asbestos?
Amazing view and video. Thank you for the beautiful video
This is so tuff
what do the horses eat in winter there?
It doesn’t snow there it rains, so still grass
What a gift I was given when I got to call this place home.
I grew up here in the late 90s. My Father was in a the navy, so we got posted to Nova Scotia. We didn't live in these buildings, but i attended daycare in one of them and went to the school and pool across from these buildings. I remember the playgrounds. Crazy to see what's happened to the place... Thanks for uploading.
❤
If only whales could fully understand how loved they are by humans nowadays and how remorseful we are for our past transgressions against them. They may never understand that the boats that they encounter are there simply to admire them for their beauty in their natural environment. I hope I have the opportunity to see them for myself someday.
can we get at least one pony in sable island ?
Looks like they are waiting for the land bridge to reappear so they can migrate somewhere else , of all the places to go they flock at that location of the beach most often than any other place
Magnificent
🌹WOW! 🇨🇦Our Government should be💪🏻promoting your remarkable🎥footage more! 🇨🇦✌🏻🍁❄️🌷🌞♥️✨🌎💫
♥️I love my country and can't💭imagine leaving this🇨🇦place. 💪🏻I am a true🇨🇦patriot and so💔saddened by the damage caused by🌪Hurricane Fiona and🌎climate-change's🤦🏻♀️on my last-nerve! 🙏🏻Will you please do a re-do to show🌲before and🌪after? 🌹Thanks for sharing. 🇨🇦+✌🏻♥️✨🌎💫
Thank you for posting this. I was too young at the time (late 1950s) to have memories beyond a couple of impressions. I appreciate your sharing of this footage - it gives me a very interesting perspective.
Was it pain in the ass to get a permit for this. I heard its insanely hard to be approved to fly drones in national parks. I flew mine outside the park a few years ago and it got taken down by birds 3 times
That one was quite easy the Sable Island one was more adventurous;)
😂🤣😅😂 👍🏻Keep🛰trying💪🏻compatriot. (; 🇨🇦✌🏻♥️
@@brintonphotography 🎥I just watched your Sable Island beauty.❤I believe🦄Horses to be the most👑Majestic creatures on🌎Earth. 🤦🏻♀️Don't ask me what I💭think about🦭Walruses🤢though. 🙏🏻I'm so grateful to know🌪Hurricane Fiona didn't wipe-out the wild untamed beautiful horses on Sable Island. 🌹Thanks for sharing. 🇨🇦✌🏻♥️✨🌎💫
Remarkable! 👍🌎🇨🇦📷
No wonder the Scottish felt at home when they immigrated! And found a place here ! My family in novascotia! Anticognish
My🇬🇧ancestors crossed the🌊pond in 1892, landing in Newfoundland and settling in Northern Ontario.🇨🇦I'm a proud patriot and🙏🏻I thank the Lord for bringing my🇬🇧🏴ancestors🇨🇦here.♥️My🇬🇧Great Nanny and🏴🇮🇪Great Grampa were🙏🏻grateful too. 🇨🇦✌🏻🇬🇧🏴🇮🇪♥️✨🌎💫
I've seen many places in the world and this is breathtakingly beautiful !
Epic 🤘🏻
How difficult to get the permission to fly the drone in highlands?
Cool I see Huron Crescent

Can you contact me.
Excellent work!
I can see why they called this Nova Scotia (New Scotland)
